JLM Chance was purchased at the 2008 Fall Classic from Jerry McLemore.
Chance was battling flu symptoms and dehydration but still won his
class. His structural correctness, squareness and shape of muscle
enabled him to win his class while not firing on all cylinders. Since we
got him home and treated him once with a low level of antibiotics he has
steadily improved. Visitors to the farm that attended the Fall Classic
have hardly recognized Chance. Chance has been a pleasant surprise since
his recovery from the flu. We took a chance on him when we purchased
him, armed with the knowledge that he was from a super litter. His
littermate brother is the popular white-legged boar at McLemore’s.
Chance has the McLemore hip and rear leg, while standing on a heavy
structure combined with balanced width from front to rear. We think he
was the heaviest muscle boar that is very sound at the Fall Classic. |
