Butch is the heavy muscled, wide based boar of the recent OSU purchases.
Oklahoma State University has a long and storied history for producing
Yorkshire breeding hogs. Dr J.C. Hillier was one of the pioneers that
helped develop the Yorkshire breed in the US. The Model 254 line of
Yorkshires carried the OSU prefix. Many of today’s' Yorkshires can be
traced directly back to the Model line. Butch and KB were purchased with
the show ring in mind. All I can say is it might get interesting what
these 2 might do.
