The 2006 NBS Hog College Boar has continued the tradition of power
genetics from SAS. His timely arrival helped us meet the demand for
wider based, heavier boned, easier fleshing genetics. His mother
ARK2 Spotlight has been an influential generator in the powerful
Cobb herd. Hallmark 32-11 is like some of the most pre-potent
breeding boars that we have introduced in the past. He has a stout
powerful head and neck that ties into a huge shoulder blade and
forearm. He is very wide in his chest floor and carries his width
back thru his thick square hip. He is not a sissy fronted, choke
throated, "pretty" little boar. You do not have to get behind
Hallmark to figure out he is a boar. Hallmark recently sired the
Supreme Champion Gilt at the 08 SE Regional NJSA Show. Hallmark is
another reason that we feel we have as deep a set of Yorkshire sires
as ever!
