BRCK9 Power Load 28-3 is the Yorkshire breeding boar that we have been
looking for! He is sired by Brock Herren's herd boar BRCK7 Power Source
10-4. Power Source is rich in genetics put together by Virgil Massey. I
have long admired Virgil for his ability to breed Yorkshires and his
dedication to breeding them. The Yorkshire breed can remain healthy as
long as young people and new breeders can turn to experienced breeders
like Virgil for foundation genetics.
Power Load's mother is the ARK sow shown by Monica Planalp at the 2009
STC that was a Timeless champion. Trends come and trends fade but
females like Power Load's mother never become dated - she is that good.
